Additionally, it will ensure the compliance of utilities with environmental requirements and the fulfillment of Romania's commitments under the Accession Treaty.

Obiectivele contractului constau în:

Informarea publicului larg cu privire Ia implementarea Proiectului
Conştientizarea de către comuniţile locale cu privire la beneficiile generate de finanţarea Proiectului
Creşterea gradului de transparență în ceea ce priveşte utilizarea fondurilor nerambursabile
Crearea unei atitudini pozitive vis-a-vis de necesitatea realizării unor astfel de investiţii de către Operatorul Regional

Finalizarea contractului de servicfl va contribui Ia indeplinirea obiectivelor privind calitatea apei destinate consumului uman conform directivelor europene (98/83/CE) (DAP) şi (2020/2184) (reformare) (DAP), precum şi tratarea apelor urbane reziduale (91/271/CEE) (DEAU), concomitent cu coformarea utilităţilor Ia cerinţele de mediu şi îndeplinirea angajamentelor asumate de România prin Tratatul de aderare.

The services included in the contract aim at the implementation of the system and will cover the following main activities: integration of existing facilities into the SCADA system for centralized control of the water and wastewater infrastructure; implementation of Videowall systems for detailed and real-time network monitoring; optimization of data transfer between the GIS platform and the SCADA system to improve operational efficiency and decision-making quality; as well as training of VITAL S.A. personnel for the efficient use of the newly implemented technologies.

Somcuta Mare (Rehabilitation of water storage reservoirs: 1×150 m³, 1×200 m³, 1×500 m³)

The fulfillment of the supply contract will support the achievement of objectives related to the quality of water intended for human consumption, under European directives (98/83/EC) (DWD) and (2020/2184) (recast) (DWD), as well as the treatment of urban wastewater (91/271/EEC) (UWWTD). Additionally, it will ensure the compliance of utilities with environmental requirements and the fulfillment of Romania's commitments under the Accession Treaty.

The main contract objective it is the modernization of the water infrastructure Baia Mare – Satulung – Somcuta Mare – Miresu Mare – Ulmeni – Remetea Chioarului. It includes the construction and rehabilitation of water tanks, pumping stations, and chlorination stations in various localities, to ensure a high-quality drinking water supply, under European standards. The project will significantly contribute to improving water services, and meeting the quality and environmental protection requirements established by the European Union.

Under the contract, the following categories of works will be carried out:

REŢEA APĂ BAIA MARE:

Rehabilitation of raw water transmission pipes, L = 1,324 m.
Rehabilitation of the potable water transmission pipeline, L = 13,926 m.
Extension of the potable water transmission pipes, L = 1,644 m.
Rehabilitation of distribution pipes, L = 4,977 m.
Extension of distribution pipes, L = 173 m.
Potable water pumping stations — 1 piece.

REŢEA CANALIZARE BAIA MARE:

Rehabilitation of the sewer network L = 16,995 m
Rehabilitation of the sewer collector L = 3,634 m.
Extension of the sewer network (Baia Mare + Grosi District) L = 5,531 m.
Wastewater pumping stations — 2 pieces.
Rehabilitation of the overflow structure — dimensions: L = 20 m, L = 7 m, H = 5 m.
